Find Help, Find Hope!

Due to FREEZING temperatures: Look Inside

Rockford is experiencing extreme winter weather with snow, ice, and some of the coldest wind chills on record. SecondFirst Church has recognized a tremendous need in our community for safe and warm overnight accommodations. In an effort to fill this need they have established the Rockford Overnight Cafe. This program aims to provide a warm, well-lit and fully-supervised gym with tables and chairs, movies and cards, coffee and hot chocolate. While they recognize this isn’t the ideal place to spend a night, it is a suitable option if the heat goes out or the fuel burns up, or if you have no shelter from the elements. No matter who you are or what circumstances led you to needing a warm place to spend the night, you are welcome at 318 N Church Street Rockford, IL 61103!
