Find Help, Find Hope!

Program Emerges in Northern Illinois

Did you know that drug overdose is the #1 cause of accidental death for adults in Illinois? 80% of those overdoses involve heroin. Luckily, an advocacy group right here in Rockford is around to help change that fact. Hope Over Addiction is a group that and supports families who are impacted by drug misuse, addiction and overdose, educates the public on addiction, and provides FREE overdose prevention training.

Hope Over Addiction invites you to attend a course to learn how to detect an overdose, how to respond, and how to use Narcan. In essence, this group can teach you how to save a life! In the course, you will also receive free Narcan kits. Addiction does not discriminate. Register today: Here or call Hope Over Addiction at 779-423-1972.

Funding provided in whole or in part by the Illinois Department of Human Services. Partners of Hope Over Addiction include the Winnebago County Health Department, Rosecrance Health Network, and Remedies Renewing Lives.
