Rural Route 1 Popcorn
In the small farming community of Livingston Wisconsin, in 1983, a family owned operation began their popcorn company. The Bidix family had 25 acres of land designated for the growth of their popcorn. Because of the strong work ethic of this family, and a dedication to providing the perfect product, this company to date has grown to over 700 acres of popcorn annually. With this growth and demand the family added to their popcorn farm to include a gourmet workshop. The popcorn is harvested less than one mile from the shop and it is in this shop that the corn is popped and transformed in to the multiple flavors and product styles.
All popcorn products are non GMO and gluten free. They are available to you in bulk popcorn that you can pop at home, in the convenience of microwave (butter or kettle corn) popcorn, or in the most popular form of fresh ready to eat popped corn. All flavored recipes are made from scratch in their workshop and utilize Wisconsin born cheeses among other local ingredients.
There is adequate shelf life to these popcorn products as well. The bulk and microwave popcorn have a shelf life of one year. Cheese popcorns have a shelf life of six months, and the chocolates have a shelf life of nine months. Each individual order comes in its own plastic bucket. The fresh popped corn buckets contain two sealed bags to maintain freshness.
Orders must be completed by April 20th. You can expect to receive your popcorn on or about May 7th.
