Share Your Story
One in five people personally experience mental illness in their lives-the ripple effect of this can also be felt by family, friends, and other supporting entities. Whether mental illness is something you personally live with, or something you have felt the impact of, we want to hear your story. This year, Mental Illness Awareness Week will be focusing on the Five Prongs of Collaboration, and embracing the community surrounding mental illness awareness, treatment, and experience. We would like to share your story as a part of this initiative, and include it in a multi-media campaign. We will be reviewing stories and working them into a social media, photo, and/or video compilation aimed at breaking the stigma surrounding mental illness. We will share your story (at your comfort level), and want to thank you for bringing your message to the forefront.
